The Judith Campbell Scholarship is awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a four year college or university, a community college or trade/technical school. Applicants must be attending a high school in San Diego County at the time of application and have a minimum GPA of 2.50. The purpose of the scholarship is to financially assist deserving students who might not be able to attend college due to financial constraints.

Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria
Meaningful Student Essay
Applicants need to demonstrate ability to overcome personal obstacles, as well as a strong commitment to continuing personal growth and development through higher education
Demonstrated Financial Need
This scholarship is for students who are well-rounded, demonstrating a desire to create impact, but need help financially to make their dreams come true
Academic Potential
We are looking for students who demonstrate academic standing and/or the potential for success. We are looking for hard workers
Community Engagement
We are looking for students who are engaged in their community through involvement in extra-curricular, community service and/or work activities
One Letter of Recommendation
Appropriate recommenders include: high school teacher, counselor, coach or school administrator; employer; staff where student volunteers or interns
Scholarship Application
- The application process opens on January 1st each year
- The deadline to apply is April 15th
- Winners will be notified no later than May 15th
